Run with Enlistment Officer and/or Bras Herald. (I know Bras is spelt with two s.)

I don't really get the flavor here. It's like reinforcements...FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE! I feel like it should have been black.

Descendant's path.

This is an interesting one, as it is both cheap and versatile. Its instant speed can mean you manipulate your draws, and it can also help you get maximum benefit from things like Garruk's Horde or Herd Gnarr. While the flavor is rather odd (Bone Harvest is a mechanically similar spell in black), it's a decent addition to a creature-heavy deck that can help you recover from Wrath of God or prevent mana-flood late in the game.
