If you dumped enough of your library into your graveyard or played this late game, you could set your draws up quite nicely. Careful not to set your fate to deep though, your opponent may surprise you with something brutal and you don't want to be left without even a prayerful top deck to answer them.

Probably best used for 2 critters. If it were only one, there are better cards for returning the dead. If it is for more than 2, you risk getting stuck with creature draws when your opponent plays something very dangerous that needs to be removed.

This card was actually pretty good back in Mirage/Visions Limited, combined well with crypt rats and many other cheap black/red beaters on the block.
