Slowtrip's cool to me, but you're basically paying (3) for it off of a Suntail Hawk.

Also, it was cooler as a "Summon Pigeons".

As a final note, I enjoy the flavor text.

the only good thing with this card (and its other variation) is its flavor text, it has Darien, King of Kjeldor in it!

Alliances was generally a good set, but it had so many god-awful commons that it almost drove me drink. Cards like this, Astrolabe, Aesthir Glider, Soldevi Steam Beast and Soldevi Sentry populated way too many booster packs.

When you look at the casting cost for this card, it becomes obvious why we have e-mail and text messaging nowdays, instead of carrier pigeons.
