At least it covers a bunch of enemies at once... Its stats leave a lot to be desired for that price, though.

I could see this work side board against a g/w, with a deck running blue/black as to abuse the nightmare effect

Seems like redundant creature types, especially since neither types constitute a tribe like goblins, or merfolk, or such.

Unlikely to ever reach its full potential, considering that an opponent is unlikely to have a green or white creature and a Swamp out at the same time.

chainer, dementia master disagrees with your tribal statement. I guess you didnt play during this block. Also a search for creature type "horror" results with 6 pages of creatures, so while I dont think they have a lord, per se, I think there is PLENTY of horror in MTG that one could build a deck with.

I guess you have never played a BW or BG deck? I also think Doran, the Siege Tower would disagree with your statement.

Limited card is limited, yes, but i dont think it is as terrible as either of you are saying... at least not for the reasons you are saying.

I think Oversoul of Dusk is the only other card that hates on three colors.
