wow, protection from all colors. this means that only silver, gold, and colorless can be effective... or maybe just colorless. basically this card can be the bane of all single colored decks, it's bad news in any case.

if it's protection from all color's it's protection from
black
white
blue
green
red
this means if a creature it multi colored I.e Blue Red
it is both blue and red
and the angel is protected from blue (or red) and therefore has protection from that creature.

The only thing that can kill this angel would be sacrificing cards, but even those are almost useless if the opponent controls at least another few other creatures with this angel.

Before Progenitus was Progenitus, we had Iridescent Angel, who was damn near the same thing. Without being a massive hydra god.

Card's name should be changed to Eldrazi Bait.

"She whoops all behinds, wins all drafts and lightens all wallets."

I wanted to write the flavour text for that set, but I just couldn't deal with anyone who used the words "Wuv Muffin."

Lightens all wallets? How come? It's 3$.

Of course, Protection from only works if the offensive spell says 'target' or somesuch similar. Untargetted spells, f'rinstance Wrath of God, Hurricane or Nevinyrral's Disk, would kick her pretty little but from here 'til next Tuesday.

Congratulations, Duddits. I chuckled. She is turning purple from the strain of that logjam.

In my sleep deprived state, I read this cards title as "Indecent Angel". Sounds completely better to me, so it will remain that in my mind. She seems like a card I would love to cheat into play.

Not a fan of blue white. Wouldn't want to see it on the other side of the table though.

Am I the only one who thought the angel on this card has an uncanny resemblance to the actress Stephanie Niznik, the one who played Nina Feeney in the 2002-2006 Everwood TV series?

@smilie23: A creature with protection from a color can't be targeted, dealt damage, enchanted, or blocked by anything of that color (The same is true for any other form of protection, like "protection from goblins" or "protection from artifacts"). So while your Wrath and Disk examples are correct, Hurricane would be ineffective.

@BrimandVormay:
Something that is multicolored (gold or hybrid) is considered any and all of the colors that it is, at all times, for all purposes relating to color. Color is color. Now, for contrast, Guardian of the Guildpact has exactly the ability you described.

I personally like to use Chaos Orb .

Not many things can kill an Iridescent Angel without having to nuke the entire board.
It's funny that Geistcatcher's Rig is one of them.
