Awesome! It's a terrifying element of the air and. . . wait, no its unplayable, its extremely unplayable, nevermind about what I said earlier, its just another worthless, inefficient creature.

This card would be cool if it cost 2UU and if there were no such thing as "reach." Or if it were a 5/5. Or if it let you look at the top card of your library.

Really, if you're going to try to sneak damage past opponents for 6 mana, you might as well use Plasma Elemental, Deepchannel Mentor, Ghastlord of Fugue (5 mana), Saprazzan Breaker (5 mana), Higure, the Still WInd (5 mana), or even Wormfang Crab. Even Graxiplon one-ups Storm Elemental, in my opinion.

I can see Storm Elemental being somewhat useful against decks with dangerous flying creatures, but it is still overpriced, and is thus not even a good sideboard card.

Heck, this would still be bad if they errata'd it to care about all snow cards!

Wizards should have realized there was no point in printing this when they released Storm Crow in the same set.

The art is the only redeeming feature on this. It looks like a Beholder that sprouted wings and a tail for whatever unlikely reason.

I guess you could find a way to go infinite and win with Laboratory Maniac...
