A little to pricey for its effect IMO. Though I guess it has some potential in an artifact creature deck that uses some black.

Big thing with this global debuff is that it's an instant. Really mess with your opps attackes.

Amazingly, to this day there is still no simple instant "All creatures get -1/-1 until end of turn." Nausea's a sorcery, and is still a sorcery under its new name, Shrivel. Blinding Light, Stench of Decay, and Hideous Laughter are as close as it gets. It's kind of a pity that Night/Day wasn't printed with more symmetrical effects.
Update 18 months later: They skipped right past it: Cower in Fear!
