Ah. My very, very first MTG card.

Funny thing is, I have never used it in a deck. It's still in the same blue Ultra Pro pocket as it was back then. Weird.

Just use it with Niv-Mizzet or Thought Reflection. Though obviously there are better cards to use with either of those.

Anyone who holds lands is laughably bad at magic. So I've Got Some Pretty Bad News For You MasterOfEtherium.

i could see this being combo-able but on its own... there are times when you have trouble finding the right card for a combo or a just plain mana screwed for once

Not really. There are certain lands you may hold onto, like those that return a land to your hand (especially if the enemy has bounce/destruction as a threat) of if you're running retrace or a similar discard mechanic, but otherwise there's no point in not dropping lands except to bluff a decent hand. Any well built deck shouldn't run into more lands than it needs/can use (you should have recurring cards, abilities that use mana, or some way of using the lands such as discard/sacrifice effects so that when you get too much mana it's not a problem.

Besides, any shot at "MasterOfEtherium" is alright in my book. He's annoying on purpose and he knows it.

To the card, you might pull an grixis combo with bazaar trader, some form of bounce and megrim/liliana's carress. Also, these effects are great on an opponent if you bounce stuff to their hand as well as it's like a semi-exile. I include the third color in the above because bazaar trader is free to use the ability of, so you don't have to cast donate the same turn, opening this up to a possible turn 4 combo without acceleration. That said, it's a 3-4 card combo that is likely to only pull about 6-10 damage. Nothing too special here.

I'd much rather just use tolarian winds, or, literally, my favorite draw engine, Windfall. Mm mm mm, love me some windfall.

still thinking if palladium (myr + myr galvanator) + (whirlpool drake + psychosis crawler) + words of wind+ teferi combo will work. if u can pull this off. being mono blue means you can pull off counterspells easily.
