It seriously looks like Princess Azula from Avatar: the Last Airbender

Actually, I was thinking Avatar Korra, but ok I see Azula too. :)

In EDH, where speed matters but one less damage is not to much of a difference, this card has and will shine.

Instant x burn can be VERRY good against control decks that will tap out for a Forbidden Alchemy or some such while you wait to build up enough mana to play around Mana Leak.

I never thought this tradeoff was worth it, not just the expense but also the loss of other abilities like fireball or disintegrate or kaervek's torch or Lava Burst.

I hate to be that guy, but... strictly worse than comet storm.
This mirage classic got phased out several sets ago in worldwake. (har har, a mirage joke) although if you really like the ability, you can nearly have 8 of the same thing in your deck and the trade off as a common is seems right.

Yeah strictly worse, also strictly less rare, less expensive and more reprintable than Comet Storm

So this is what they give us instead of Fireball in M13? Pitiful. But come to think of it, without Fireball, this would seem mildly good.
Instant speed X damage is very powerful burn if you ask me.

This might not be fair, but I always compare this to cards like Consume Spirit. You get basically the same thing with life gain. Not as splashable, but your probably going to run this in a mono deck anyways because of the 2{R}. And compared to Fireball? COME ON WOTC!
Absolutely no complaints. Comet Storm was good and all, but lets face it, that thing was a touch too powerful. The Geyser is still very relevant and if used right can definitely show people how strong that handy little X is up in the corner. Probably one of the more versatile spells I've seen as of late.

"Hey guys I know what's better than this 10 cent uncommon, a mythicrare!" -everyone here who suggested comet storm.
People, seriously, stop comparing things that are out of each other's rarity range.

"Rarity range", AirlockFart. Really. A magic card is a magic card, regardless of the color of its expansion symbol!

This is a card you will ALWAYS want to see early on. A good luck charm, if you will.
