I'm sad this is the only Unleash card that gets an effect if it has the counter.

By far the biggest Imp in all of Magic the Gathering... and they look like Apocalypse Ponies...

Trample seems less important when the Imp has flying (there are more non-flyers than flyers), but nevertheless a bonus.

Flying Fiery Doom Kittens? Oh hell yes.

There is some really weird tension with +1 and -1 counters but combine this with Heartless Summoning for some beatdown.

So this is what 6 mana will get you post-Titans. I approve. I agree that trample may not be as relevant when combined with the flying, but if I can make these kids hasty, I'll gladly put the +1/+1 counter on them just so I can smack my opponent in the face for 7 the turn he comes out. This'll be a potent finisher in a somewhat slower red or part-red strategy.

Now that's a card that buffs imp tribal decks. :) 7/6 trample, flying, can't block for 6 mana ain't bad either.

I like this imp. This guy will win games in constructed and limited. I know this because I am a pro.

This is an interesting imp design. They're almost flying monkeys. On fire.
And flample is always good - and on a 7/6 for 6 in mono-red!

5/5 for being a solid red flier that's not a dragon!

The comparison here (as with most big flying/trample combinations) is to big nasty demons like Liege of the Pit. The Liege demands sacrifices, but can block and has morph letting it come in much earlier. All in all, I'd say this is better: you can just "fire and forget" as opposed to having to carefully manage your deck to get the power working. Plus, the ability to throw down a red flying blocker in a pinch should not be overlooked, even if Thudermaw Hellkite kind of puts it out of a job in that regard. I imagine we won't be seeing all that much of this guy, mainly because of stiff competition from the Hellkite.

A good Rakdos card besides Rakdos himself.
Some people called this Red Baneslayer. I'd prefer Lawslayer Dragon (please Wizards...) any day.

I absolutely love this card, and how it shows where MtG is taking creatures. The time of BS angel and the giants was one of the most boring for me, and it's finally over. This creature seems completely fair for its cost. 6 mana for a 7/6 flying trample beatstick is beautiful.
@lorendorky: I dunno why you brought up the -1/-1 counters, HS doesn't use them. Which makes a bit of a difference when using Chaos Imps.

Game-winner in Limited. A 6 mana 7/6 Flying Trample is very difficult to stop.

This little guy won me many games in the pre-release, and the next day, every casual game I played with my friends. This is a potent card, and I have no idea why it is rated only 3.5. It swings for 7 next turn, and tramples over any flyers your opponent may have. On turn 6, dropping this is a threat to your opponent, and at the very least will divert a removal spell from your other creatures. 5/5

Geez, this thing is scary!
A huge collection of imps that can defeat most dragons... a 7/6 flying trampler that cannot block is pretty good, especially in red.

I think this is better than people give credit to it. It's at least not a 3.3 star creature. Maybe 3.7 or 3.8.
I say this because it has no flaws. There's nothing wrong with it, other than the fact that it costs 6. The colour weight isn't too bad, since having by turn 6 won't be difficult, and unleashing it gives it a beneficial offensive bonus.
Lastly, a 6/5 for 6 Flyer is amazing in Limited: perhaps one of Reds best creatures to draft. Making it a 7/6 flying wurm is so much icing on so much cake.
Unfortunately, like for all unleash creatures, watch out for Common Bond: it's a doozy!

Six mana for a card that's only really good if it has a +1/+1 counter on it? Seriously?
Even without unleash, it's still good. And I rated it a 6/5, as it's a 6/5.

why the hell is this rated low? do people expect every flier to be akroma , baneslayer or vampire nighthawk? this thing is good enough to be a 3.9 at least. 7/6 flying with trample is scary.

So that's basicly 7/6 with flying, a freaking trample and cannot block. Awesome card for Rakdos. As long as your opponent doesn't play removal spell.

This card wasn't very appealing because by the time you played it, if you were playing straight Rakdos and were unleashing everything you played, you'd wouldn't be able to use this offensively. Now that Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch is out, now these little guys have a lot more appeal as a late game finisher for Rakdos and Grixis decks. Very cool.
