I'll probably end up using this more for the untap effect than the pump.

Pros like me know that untapping green creatures can be a very powerful defensive move. Also if the creature has a tapping ability, you can get a 2 for 1 out of it.

It's ok, but is it really nessessary with giant growth in the same set?

This with Desecration Demon. Oh you sacrifice a creature to tap him and put a +1/+1 counter on him? How about I untap him and attack with him even stronger.

Savage Surge is a really good card to attack with a large creature and make yourself seem defenseless and then make him come back as a surprise even more powerful than before.

It speaks incredibly well of the set that this is the lowest-rated card.

Boy. I sure am glad we have lotsofpoopy to tell us all about this game...
I think I'd feel lost and cry without his pro guidance...

Gruul with Krenko? Not sure if Goblins is a thing atmo, but tapping him with one other goblin on the field would give you another 2 making it 4, second tap would give you another 4 1/1s making 8 goblins!

Meh. Burst of strength is better. It's nice that this card allows you to draft it in the third pack, though. 2/5.

Didn't take WotC long to reprint this - it's in the very next block.
