I like the concept but I think the angle we see the character should be more pronounced and dynamic. As is it looks posed like a Ninja Turtle toy.

Regenerate for 6 feels overcosted. A badly masked vanilla :/

He's got an aggressive price, and regeneration is great... but it just feels wrong to pay 6 for it. Is there really so much mana in the format?

Finally! The perfect card! Truly having regenerate at anything LESS than 6 is completely game breaking and should never happen!
*Slaps self* Sorry, I don't know what came over me. I thought I was R&D for a minute there.

That is one of the most ridiculous regeneration costs I've ever seen... And this is taking into account Numai Outcast... But still, it's a "bonus" to an alright creature.

Pros like me realize that you can play him early and his high regeneration cost makes him useful in the late game, also.

This will see play... in my Worst Cards Ever cube alongside my foiled out sets of Homelands and Fallen Empires. Don't ask how I foiled them out--I just did. As previously mentioned, this is merely a vanilla disguised as something more. WotC, Aaron specifically, will call this card "medicine, something that exists to fill a specific need but doesn’t excite anyone." He's right that it won't excite anyone--though his claims that it fills a specific need are dubious at best.

If this card were a vanilla 3/2 for 2W, it would have had a much higher rating.

I'd probably think twice about regenerating my vanilla 3/2 for six mana even if my hand was empty...
Considering this is an elephant, he might have started out as a 3/3 during design, and Wizards just wanted to give him a tiny advantage by adding this ridiculously steep regeneration. Then he got degraded to 3/2, and they forgot to reduce the activation cost. Or they just thought it was funny to leave it at that.

...If you really, really want to pay the activation cost, you can regenerate it, I guess.

Those four Selesnyan Sentries must have had a LOT of mana...

Only reason I can see for the stupid regen cost would be the mana ramp with axebane guardians and defenders

It's really not that bad. Yeah, the regeneration cost is absolutely ridiculous, but a 3/2 body for 2W is pretty good in limited. This is a limited card- it is NOT meant to be played in constructed decks, even casual!

I do think more tales would've been told of that day if that 24 mana had been spent in pretty much any other way you could spend 24 mana.

Why Wizards? Why give him that ability... 3/2 vanilla > this ... It makes you feel bad when putting him into mono-white deck and u feel like you put Rakdos in mono red deck..

You heard it here first: Muraganda Petroglyphs is coming back into standard, and they wanted to make sure that this wouldn't be overpowered when that happened. So they made a vanilla that isn't eligible for the Petroglyphs.

2 out of 5. A decent three drop but the regenerate ability isn't viable for another three turns.

2-2.5 out of 5. You have to assess this kind of card in the environment it's intended for - limited. In limited, it's a 3/2 for 3 - that's fine. Its power is on curve, which is the main thing. If the game stalls, the regeneration can even become relevant. It's no bomb by any means, but you wouldn't be too unhappy to run it in your limited deck.

Not even that epic flavor text can hide that 6 cost regen :(

Give it or Regenerate and it would be almost contructed playable. This way it's just paper waste/limied filler.

2/5. He's a 3/2 for 3 with a way-overpriced regeneration. If he didn't have the regen I would have given him a 1.5/5 but, like Duty-Bound Dead, even though it's rather ridiculously priced it can still come in handy.

For the flavor text and the art, Im giving it a 4/5. I really can't help but like the card.
I feel a 3/2 for 3 is average. I'd really just run these guys to have some good looking cards in my hand.
Looks are everything.

Whoa... They really don't want you to regenerate this guy do they... six mana! Shesh... I could play a Armada Wurm for that!
