This feels so nostalgic. I could easily see it in an old frame.

It's like a bird version of Attended Knight. I also like the idea of a shopkeeper who basically sets up shop in the middle of your planeswalker battle.

2 Chumpblockers for 1 might be playable.

chump blocker? That bird is my win condition!

Cards like this are why "Townsfolk" should still be a legitimate creature type.

The flavor of this card is wonderful.

Pros like me are pretty fond of good humans like this one that give us flying birds to populate.

As mentioned, I'm unsure why you'd play this over Attended Knight. However, I just don't care because I love the name, the art, the flavor. I love every single thing about this card! Well, I mean, except the actual card itself as I'd be loathe to use it in a deck. Still, as a common dripping with flavor, you could do a lot worse.

I agree with lorendorky, this totally feels like a reprint even though we all know it isn't.
It's like she once was a townsfolk from Mercadian Masques all along.

She is the seller of songbirdS. There are actually two birds in play.
The seller is a 0/1 herself with a 1/1 bird perched on her arm. The bird pecks anyone who comes near her.

It's like a Squire stapled to a Suntail Hawk!

3 out of 5. A 1/2 body that comes with an additional 1/1 flier. Not terrible but not great either.

Would've been competitive at cmc 2, like maybe typed a dryad or centaur and put in selesnya for g/w g/w. as is, fairly unplayable with redeeming flavor points. Not even good in limited, so 2/5. Sad, because as others I agree that the poetry of this card is tops.

I really want to make a "tuppence" joke, but it would have worked better if it was pay 2 mana: Make a bird token. :P

EDIT: just realized I cannot leave without my trademark Disney Song Lyrics with Autocards. :3 (Also just discovered the Combo I needed to make the song work)

This plus flicker effects and then Airborne Aid.

Such a simple, beautiful little card. You can almost hear the twittering of the birds as she moves among the cages. It's magical in the best way: taking something we can understand and adding a touch of strangeness and wonder. We need more creatures like this.

This may be a cheese ball question, but if I have a Seller of Songbirds on the battlefield and I play a second Seller of Songbirds, do I put down two 1/1 bird counters (one counter from the casting and the second from the Seller of Songbirds already in play). Am I over reading the card?

Awesome flavor, if she had been in Theros she could have had Devotion to white determine how many birds you would get. But then she would lose some charm. Or she could have given us a Storm Crow token! GG. ;)
