Should have been G or a cantrip. Either would have helped this; otherwise, it's an overcosted 1-for-2. I mean, this is green, after all, so just smash the hexproof creatures with your bigger dudes. And yeah, Necrobite.
The serpent gave us a piece of shit for our birthdays.

C'mon, Wizards. Lace with Moonglove was bad. But at least you could use it. Same goes for Necrobite. This card, though, is garbage. It could have easily cost {1}{G} (or even {G}) and not been unfair. Why do we get this?

why make a card that is already functionally obsolete? It's not useless, but Necrobite makes this pointless.
What power creep? Zombie Goliath, Canyon Minotaur and this in the 2013 core set? :'(

Oh wow. It's Lace with Moonglove, minus a card. That's a lot worse than they usually do.

It never ceases to amaze me the amount of hate slathered on overcosted commons from a core set. Two stars, because as bad as it is it's a common and not horrendously unusable.

I like this card. I am a pro so I can use it to kill whatever I want.

Is it useful? Certainly. But what I don't understand is why similar cards cost less. What I'd have like to see is it cost one mana less -or- to give it something like flashback, buyback or replicate. I would very much like to see one of the latter.

But wow, that art. If you see this on the card, you'll know. The computer won't do it justice.
That's all I can say about it, though.

Now, if it was in Blue, it'd be pretty good. However, green has a decent amount of combat tricks. Also, Necrobite was just printed, and that makes this look bad.
Saying something like "adding First Strike" is absolutely idiotic, but I think that'd be the only way a card like this would see a lot of play. Maybe making it or changing the colour to Black () would even it out a little.
It's a good thing this isn't though. In truth, the 3-cost is very fair, because this technically is Green's Murder. Any cheaper, and you'd need to throw in a drawback.

Pairs well with Trample, Rancor in particular. Wurms just may like this card.

AHH!!! Incredible art wasted on a card which is not hardly playable. Particularly because it is strictly worse than Lace with Moonglove. Anytime I see awesome art, I look for ways to use the card in my decks. Unfortunately, I have come up short on this one. If only there was a way for all of the artists to submit their artwork first and then have the best art go to the cards which will see play. I am vexed. Terribly vexed.

Soooo, on one hand, there is a powercreep. On the other hand, it's a shiitcreep.

Terrible. The vast majority of the time, Giant Growth will not only kill their creature but save yours... and giant growth is generally a bit underpowered. It says something that they previously printed this effect on a cantrip and people only considered it mediocre.

Perhaps there's a place for it in monogreen pauper commander... Don't know what else though.

"Sacrifice a creature: Destroy target creature."
Except a bit better cause it can kill shrouders/hexproofers.
Seriously, dafuq wizards?
