Pretty art

Unlike Nantuko Mentor, it can be used on the turn it comes into play, and repeatably. It also has a buffer body.
This is more useful in a token strategy, while the mentor is better when you are pulling stuff like Terra Stomper.

Given the number of tokens that green and white are spewing out these days, coupled with green mana ramp, this guy can enable some pretty nasty attacks.

Also, have to love Terese Nielsen artwork.

so nice. I am reconstructing a G/W token deck, and this will be a big help when it comes to finishing the opponent off. The way i have token decks is have several generators i can forget about that provide me at least one new token per turn, preferably more, without additional mana input. this will allow me to select a sacrificial lamb or two to pump to gigantic proportions and attack. If it hits, great. If it is blocked, most likely the other creature dies, and if mine happens to, so what? it's only a token that will be more than replaced the next turn. Through this attrition games are won.

When you read the card text you realize it's good, but when you walk by the intro packs containing many-headed ghosts and sword-wielding vampires and then see this guy holding a wreath, it's a bit underwhelming.

I'm thinking some sort of Exalted deck would enjoy this guy.
He basically doubles the Exalted bonus that your sole attacking creature gets.

In mono green zoo this guy is a monster. Even if you don't have enormous amounts of creatures, the fact the ability can be used over and over in a turn makes this guy very powerful.

Excellent in ramping decks that use BoPs or Llanowars. Stuck without anything to cast with all that mana? Birds of Paradise is now Furyborn Hellkite!

Play in exalted, attack with a triple-exalted creature at 8 mana.

Very situational ability and a 2/3 body for 3 isn't impressive. Ok in limited.

As much as I love the Avacyn Human tribal cards like these, you just have to stop and realise, some of these really should be Elves.

Might of the Masses on a stick. Quite good in limited, where creatures are a finite/unreliable resource and blocking effectively is a big deal. Especially useful if you want to transform some werewolves on your turn. Or if you have a decent-sized Spider Spawning.

Humans in Innistrad tend to be very swarm-y, and this guy just inflicts amounts of damage that start to get with more than three creatures, especially since it's repeatable. Just use his ability on whatever isn't blocked, and go to town.

keep in mind that by the time you've gotten an army big enough, this guy's being green can mean he gets to use the ability twice in the same turn

This is the "Tap: Target Creature gets X/X, where X = (insert powerful tribal)" for everyone.

Sure, Immaculate Magistrate gives them counters, but this doesn't care about creature types. Not only that, it's repeatable and can be done after blockers have been chosen.

The 3Green is a little costly, but nothing too absurd. I still think people are underestimating this with tokens/creature-based EDH decks.

Average Intro Pack rare is meh.

A repeatable might of the masses on a decent body wrapped up in one splashable card! This looks good to me! Fun and fair. That's what I like on a magic card. 3 & 1/2 stars. Solid.
