I just noticed the landcycling on this card. It makes so much sense :)

It's playable. But 6 mana can be a problem.

Necrotic Ooze + this + Pili-Pala = infinite mana. Plus his Forestcycling lets you dump him in the grave faster.

Why are cycling cards from older sets much more playable than the ones in Alara? I'd like to chat with whoever decided that they would only put it in commons/overbalanced the cards sometime. This one is a nice way of getting nine mana on turn 5 or 6, or assuring you'll have a land to drop turn 3.
@Kelptic183: dude, I never thought about using this in my Necrotic ooze deck. Thanks.

One can never have too many monstrous elves. ;)

I run two of these in a casual cheesy green ramp deck containing 4x Fyndorn Elves, 4x Llanowar Elves and 4x Priest of Titania. To keep things interesting I only have two copies of Tooth & Nail in my deck. I'm sure one of my mates will get a Tremor one of these days...

This is pretty much a perfectly designed for EDH. It's costly (which isn't a big problem in EDH), it ramps a lot (since your other cards will be REALLY costly), and it can fetch Shocklands or the original dual-lands (or basic forests, if you're mono-coloured).

There's a few problems with this. One, green isn't a huge fan of using mana on other player's turns, so the GGG kinda clashes with the 4/5 body. Two, there are much more efficient rampers (obviously). It's playable, but 3.94 seems like a ludicrously high rating.
