These lands have heavy drawbacks...
however in a deck that runs any form of Mana Flare..
especially Mana Reflection

or land untap mechanics, such as Garruk Wildspeaker

combine both of these techniques.. maybe with an Amulet of Vigor

and you have easily accessible lands that will significantly speed you up in later turns..
just a thought..

Pure awesomeness, all ten of them.

The bounce lands are mana fixers and card advantage at the expense of one mana for one turn.

The also ensure you are behind on the land count for Land Tax.
And ahead of the curve after a cataclysm.

@derferous: Nope, actually, if you run any form of Mana Flare, these lands are highly underwhelming. A basic land would net a higher % of mana gained as the duo lands also only provide you with 1 extra mana. Mana Reflection on the other hand, does just that. Garruk Wildspeaker can essentially be free if you have two duos, use them to play him and then untap them again.

Anyhow, these lands are great. Almost a staple in any EDH deck that runs more than one color. They do however carry great risk and can set you way behind if targeted by removal early.

I always found these too slow for my tastes.

These are OK, it depends if your deck has a perfect curve it needs to follow or not. If you can get in an appropriate mix you can mitigate the bounce issues.

Try to not run it with other ETB lands though. A lot come into play tapped, so this just makes things worse for longer.
