In addition when the game draws out and you need to replenish your hand you can dredge Life from the Loam with your draw steps draw and return three cycle cards to your hand discarding them all to draw new cards, or returning Life from the Loam to your hand in order to repeat the process until you either draw something good or run out of mana/library
On top of all that in early game the cycle lands are able to replace themself from your starting hand if you find yourself sitting with too many lands on you opening hand, or as in my EDH deck it can fill your grayveyard by casting Life from the Loam with no target and thereby dreading 3 the next turn
