@loredorky: This won't work. Just take a look at the rulings of Vedalken Plotter: "If either land becomes an illegal target (or leaves the battlefield) before the ability resolves, the exchange won't happen. There's no way for you to gain a land without losing another one in the process."

Ray of Command, hit em with their own creature and then sac it for two cards. Fun! And that is just staying in blue, there is much more temporary stealing in red...
