Not at all. You still can't float mana past the end of a step, even if you don't take damage for the mana that goes away.

a control deck tapping itself out?
Or if not a control deck, it's a deck stupid enough to use a blue creature for a beater

Bad luck that this card is blue, the color of instants. As a green or even better a red creature this thing would have been... okay not great but more useable.
In dissonance with blue normal strategy... But Prophecy isn't a normal set!...

I still can't think of a good combo for this card. I readthe card, and I was like "this probably sucks, but I bet some genius posted an absurd combo". Other than donating it, what else is there?

Decent for its cost as long as you tap out every turn anyway, but still not the king of efficiency. Nowadays it seems we get a lot better for a lot less when it comes to creatures, but that's only to keep old players buying new cards.

This card is absolutely disgusting.
Donating isn't even worth it, just donate something like Cephalid Vandal or Aristocrat then prolif the former or poke the latter to mill your opponent in the lamest and most convulated way possible.
There's also Puca's Mischief for the people who want the constant trading effect while remaining mono blue.
Also; Maybe a UG deck? Use Upwelling so your mana makes it to the enemies turn although, it also "helps" your enemy at the same time since the mana continues to stack.
I... don't... know...

It had synergy with Chimeric Idol, Risings Waters, Foil and Thwart in Masques-Invasion T2.
There was also Wash Out, the one sided Nevinyrral's Disk!

Back in the good old days blue was kinda limited in strategies with control being ther main focus so a 3/4 for {2}{U}{U} was kinda nice but now its a weak card if u dont use it in combo with Donate or bazaar trader

This isn't a terrible card no matter what anyone says. It would be damn good in limited which means it's reasonable in casual.
3/4 flier for 4 that doesn't have a drawback in some decks. Not terrible. Not good of course.
Oh but it's RARE. Ok now I see why people are unhappy. Not a fun rare to get.

fne fine, it's a terrible card in 99.9% of cases....but what about the guy who has Candelabra of Tawnos? herp. I'm sure this is somehow broken, I just don't see it...but it could be funny for a o.o" wtf moment...

Don't you just love how nearly every single blue creature that can actually fight is either ridiculously expensive or has some crippling drawback that you'd never find on a non-blue creature with the same stats?

It's nos Serendib Efreet of course, but I remember that a player made Top8 in a very high level tournament (such as 2000 World Champ or something like that) and played 4 of these...

Would be *so* good if it said "upkeep" instead. Unsure what to do with this..
