The art is awesome. The card, eh...not so much. I suppose that in some very niche decks, dropping 2 into your own grave will help. But man, a 2 mana 2/1 with an ability that is a draw back 90% of the time. What a waste of some great art.

Very nice two-drop for U/G mill yourself, though not as helpful in zombie control, because unless you're playing against aggro, you wanna leave your two drop slot for Mana Leak

@Dolorosa: Uh, yeah, that's totally correct if by "niche" you mean "any deck with Innistrad cards"! Think about it! Flashback, Skaab Ruinators, Wreath of Geists! And then there's Odyssey block and Time Spiral, too!

The core set merfolk looter will do more for you in the long run.

That said, I like the art and the ability is pretty neat even if it could do more.

Dear god, what is that I wouldn't run it even if it was advantageous it's so scary.

Just about every blue INN+DKA limited deck wants this. Fills your yard to cast stitched/headless/mauler and sweet flashback cards.

Next time you hear a small scratching sound at your window in the middle of the night, think of this card.

I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going...

But really, this is a great card for self-mill; as is its tougher older brother, the Armored Skaab.

I've been thinking about this card and how it compares to Armored Skaab a lot recently. I think that the extra power and lower cost more than make up for the lost toughness and milling. And, while it only gives two cards, it can trade with other one and two drops, becoming a guaranteed creature in the graveyard. How often does Armored Skaab flip a few lands and counter spells?

I like it in a mill-yourself-zombie deck that doesn't actually run a lot of creatures.
