It's a decent card, just WAY too expensive!!! It should be 2WW, or at most 3WW. But 6 CMC for a 3/4 with basically lifelink??? If it wasn't for the Forecast ability, I'd be forced to give it 2 stars.

Rhox War Monk is just another example of how making a card harder to cast warrants lowering its total cmc.

It can be milled off the deck with Millstone. It sucks.

I think the artwork is really cool. I just can't for the life of me imagine why it costs 6 mana. That's the same as Warrior Angel who also has flying and Exalted angel who's got more toughness and an alternate way of summoning. At least if I have Grand Arbiter Augustin IV out, he costs a more practical 3WW. It's almost like most Azorius cards had Grand Arbiter Augustin in mind when their costs were decided. They are all pretty much overcosted unless he's in play.

For those of you who don't get it, that forecast ability is akin to spirit link, i don't think you'd actually cast him unless you're applying pressure, he's more control. You use his forecast ablity on something like, i don't know, Darksteel Colossus that's attacking you, gain 11 Life. It's a lot better than Lifelink because you gain the life no matter who it's on.

Ahem. Forecast abilities can only be activated during your upkeep, so no stopping attackers here. Decent on huge creatures to gain life, but should never to hardcasted unless you're backed in a corner.

Since none of the previous posters mentions it I will say that this card is probably written this way to give "Spirit Link" to some creature with Lifelink, so you gain lifex2. It's an synergy that you see only on practice, when the situation rise up, though.
About it cost, maybe Development made it that way so it monocolored cards don't get over multi-c on the block, and also is a good way to notice more the Forecast ability. Stopping being the devil's advocate here, this card doesn't deserve to be uncommon xD. And like @RikerBlake posted you rely on forecast and almost never cast it.

it costs 6 because she ate the rest of your mana.

@Angry_Puppy :: Since all cards can be milled off the top with a Millstone, does that mean all cards suck because of that?
It isn't errata'd to "Lifelink" because there isn't any reason to do so.
This costs 6 because the purpose isn't to hard-cast it, it's to use the forecast ability. If you're hardcasting it, then you probably need a threat on the board.
