Casting cost may be a bit high, but banding with this guy isn't so bad.

Think of it as a 4 cast 0 equip +0/+4 card that lets you ignore an amount of damage equal to your toughness.

Way better than it's current rating indicates. The casting cost is a touch too high, but the banding ability on a defender is solid.
This guy can be very annoying to get past.

Your opponent attacks with a 3/4. You block it with four Kjeldoran Warriors and Wall of Shields. Assign all combat damage to the wall. Your guys live and the 3/4 dies.
Granted by the time you've got all that out he's gonna have more than a 3/4, but the banding will wear him down if he's simply attacking you.

I always wanted to like this card, but it just isn't that strong. Banding on a creature with toughness 4 is pretty useful, but it would have been much more playable if it had 1 power (or 5 toughness) or if the casting cost had been 2.
