This is a halfway decent card. It becomes a win condition if you have Precursor Golem

Gather around, and listen: i have a story.

It all started when my friend's deck got stolen. He doesn't know where it went, and it was worth a decent amount.

As a good friend, I gave him a deck I made. Mind you, the deck was VERY weak, and was an attempt at a Scars Golem deck. However, since I only bought a few New Phyrexia packs, I only had a few Splicers. Because of that, his deck contains such... great cards like Siege Mastodon and Mighty Leap.

Here's the funny part...

Him and another of my friends were playing a game. We usually play Casual, so any card can go into any deck. This is just to explain why my friend had Trench Gorger in his deck.

So he played it, exiling 15 lands from his deck, making it a 21/21. Game over, right?

Not... exactly. Why playing my pathetic deck, he hatched a plan...

He first played Mighty Leap... targeting the Gorger.

He then played Plummet.

And to finish the story off, do you want to know what my friend's next card to draw was (Trench Gorger's owner)?

Primeval Titan.

Ferlord, you're playing with Trench Gorger incorrectly. It would have been a 15/15.

I've learned not to underestimate this card. Almost every time it's been played in my casual circle, it turns the game on it's head, either slipping through an attacker for an extra 2, a surprise Plummet, or even just an inefficient pump to take out an attacker I thought was safe.

Is it a great card? Hell no. Is it a USEFUL card? Quite.

@Ferlord: NeoKoda's right. Also, it still sounds like your friend was in a lot of trouble, if he was facing down a Primeval Titan, regardless of whether its owner could search for lands with it.
