I seem to recall reading not too long ago that demons would be reserved as Black's "big bad super awesome creatures in the rare slot with cool abilities." Seems rules are made to be broken XD And this guy doesn't even have flying, or intimidate, or anything!

I drafted Mono-black and won 2 matches out of 3. This made me a happy camper after facing off against 3 players who used humans in some combination of red, white, and green.

Would be strictly better than Zombie Goliath if it's not for the creature type.
Love this card. It takes me one step closer to building my monoblack vanilla deck.
Ok, I'm not defending this card. It's boring and doesn't have enough toughness for it's cost.
That being said...
Vanilla is a flavor. considering yogurt, have you ever had unflavored yogurt? Gross. Vanilla flavored? delicious. I've never tasted unflavored ice cream...but I have to imagine it tastes pretty disgusting too.
So if a card is 'blah,' as in 'unflovored,' I hardly find 'vanilla' to be an appropriate decribing term.

This is a creature type-shifted reprint of Mass of Ghouls, people. I'd say this is definitely the worse card, as Zombie is a massively more supported creature type, but this one is definitely cooler.
