The art leads me to think of this as more 'Western-Setting' flavored.

This won me two games at the prerelease today. Attacking with a couple of flying creatures and playing this, and then flashbacking it the next turn I managed to deal 10 damage two turns in a row. Plus I really like the art, I love the hint of purple in the sky and the red in the middle, especially in contrast to the white background. :)

I splashed red in my U/W prerelease deck for Balefire Dragon, but this is the reason I'm happy that deck had mountains. This, this again, and Spare From Evil all in one turn can win pretty much any game.

@armogohma That's exactly what I did twice at my draft, using two Morbid enabled 5/5 boars.

I heard this was good in limited, so I switched from red/blue to red white when I saw this in the draft. It was the kill card for 4 of my victories on the way to winning the draft, and it also provided brutal combat tricks since I had 4 cards with first strike in the deck. If I had realized how crazy this would be with first strike, I would have drafted more. As it was, I let a Voiceless Spirit and a Kessig Wolf pass me by.

my brother is looking to start playing magic, and he thought there was a good chance he'd use red-white. he got 5 innistrad packs, and 3 of these
i told him, youre definitely using red-white now XD
ps. the foil of this card is the lamest ive ever seen :P

*opens some packs of Innistrad, sees Rally the Peasants*
"Hmmm. That's kind of cool."
*drafts Innistrad, runs into red-white deck*
"Boros, huh? I should be concerned about Geistflames and Rebukes."
*gets hit with flashbacked Rally the Peasants on turn 6 for like 300 points of damage*
Casting it once is decent. If you have two unblocked creatures, that's 3 mana for 4 extra damage, which isn't bad. The fact that you can cast it, let it hit your graveyard, and then cast it again and have 2 unblocked creatures deal an extra 8 damage for 6 mana is a game winning move. Or, you can flash back it at a later, more convenient time if you want, which is fine.
Of course, it scales pretty crazily with additional creatures. With 4 unblocked 1/1s, casting it twice in the same turn is a solid 20 damage.
Of course, I'm forgetting all those wonderful first striking and double striking red and white creatures which will likely make this a nightmare card for opponents.
I'm looking forward to using this in EDH. Looking weak and then explosively ending the game is my favorite way to play, and all those 0/1 kher keep kobolds and springjack pasture goats that litter my side of the field will get their chance to shine.

When you flash this back, will it put a counter on shrine of loyal legions?

@Shallowend Yes. It is still a White card (and not a red card) when it's flashed back.

At the prerelease my opponent attacks with the 1/2 cat while I'm at 5. I see them splashing red so I don't block to play around Brimstone Volly. They then play this and I died. Yea, I know want to play W/R just for the mind games between these two cards.

A lot of Avacyn Restored shaped pitchforks, I see. Those silly angels and their foreshadowing...
