Worse than Viridian Claw on a non-human, better than Viridian Claw on a human.

That's one badass pitchfork. And as ZEvilMustache says, it's got great art.

Looks like a very, very sharp Trident than a pitchfork, lovely artwork!

I never even managed to play this on a human during the pre-release... But the first strike can already by highly useful. Combos nicely with Blazing Torch during blocking, too. Allowed me to take out creatures with toughness 5 with my 2/1 Ashmouth Hound - and it survived!

Read the flavor text. Then see Silver-Inlaid Dagger.

I'll run four in my human deck. Cus you can never have enough pitchforks!

"Although the scythe isn't preeminent among the weapons of war, anyone who has been on the wrong end of, say, a peasants' revolt will know that in skilled hands it is fearsome." - (Terry Pratchett, Mort)

Just replace "scythe" for "pitchfork", and the quote says everything. So, even though I want to, I can't think of anything else to add to this comment.

What amounts to first strike for three mana in most cases.

I wonder what she is holding off? Looks like zombies, but could be vampires too. Amazing art. The shadows make you wonder, and you see no fear in her, only determination to survive. The art, the effect, and the flavor text captures everything about Innistrad.

I hope she survived. My guess is yes. She became at lease a 2/2 first striker. Usually enough to take down most vampire and zombie commons relatively unscathed.

Of course she survived! She Swapped out her pitchfork for a mace and journeyed to Ravnica!
