Big improvement on the old art, IMHO.

Freaking.
Tits.

This is, without a doubt, and by a very wide margin, the BEST Tim ever printed.
And, forgive me if this offends you, the best red one-drop ever printed.
Yes, including Kird Ape.
Yes, including Goblin Lackey.

This card is probably the best (or so) from the deck. However, I wouldn't call it the best one-drop ever, but I still love Kird Ape from being a kid. My big brother gave me tons of them when I played only Portal, though, so that probably has an effect there.

No matter what, though, Shocking by taking two cards out of your graveyard, especially if you'll NEVER use them again? Masterpiece.

Fantastic piece of design. Exiling cards from the graveyard may feel a little strange in red, but it is an excellent solution to the idea of "how do we make a Tim that can deal 2 damage instead of just one, without it being completely broken?" Goblin Artillery is one solution at uncommon. Grim Lavamancer shows how a rare can do it, by turning your graveyard into ammunition.

Its interesting to think about the flavour of using expended burn spells as fuel for more burn. What happens to a Lightning Bolt after it has been cast? Does some spark of its energy remain buried in the ground? :O

"Fools dig for water, corpses, or gold. The earth's real treasure is far deeper."

The flavor is a total win. You're digging up your grave, and underneath said grave is a lava field! Beware, graveyard scavenging necrophiliacs, beware.

One of the best one drops ever printed.

In the top 3 red one drops.

A brutal card for red control and red burn and red aggro and well anything red really. It's also fun in innistrad!
