There's nothing wrong with protection from blue and red. Complain if you want, but I'd use this guy in a heartbeat.

@danegator, Terminate's red, so he's got prot Terminate already. =p
Still, 5/5 burnproof beater for 6 isn't bad at all. Good for punishing annoying control deck, though he still catches the brunt of white defense spells.

um why is it that he "needs" protection from black?
One of my most loved creatures during invasion block, annoyed the hell out of my opponents playing blue who don't have Malice to deal with it or some other mass creature or permanent removal card like Pernicious Deed
Pros: - Immune to burn spells - Immune to blue target spells like Repulse and other annoying nasties: in particularRecoil and Terminate - Beats Rakavolver - 5/5 Trample for 6 CMC is good - In the same colour as Armadillo Cloak
Cons: - Vulnerable to mono black and white removal - Can be countered by the colour it has protection from - High cost restricts decks it is used in
Flavour text pushes up my rating by .5 cos it shows me these big cats(okay beasts...) wants to smash their opponents to prove they are better

After the creature type update, it's a cat warrior now. Warriors are nice, but cats are one of the most heavily supported creature types in magic!
Don't forget protection from Terminate! :) Edit: @Magnor_Criol : L2R -> Someone complained about the lack of protection from black, so I drew his attention to the fact that it has protection from Terminate. :)

Now is different. Magic is more fast then those days. Now this kind of creature doesn't make you win the game and there are many better drops.
