4 for a 2/2 Lifelink isn't anything special. The fact that it's a cat that is green/white is the only thing nice.

well, not really. there are nine other green/white colored cats in total since the latest oracle update and block.
i guess lifelink-like effects were simply handled back with more caution back then as opposed to these days.

I think some of you are forgetting his ability stacks with lifegain. Also he's a cheeta with horns. I think he wins on that fact alone.
