Agreed! I'm glad I haven't bought any Fog from M10 or M11, I'm going to get a playset of these just for the flavor and art.
In gameplay aspects, it's still the same old fog. Not very good, all it does is to buy you a turn, it's card disadvantage and green shouldn't have much problem to have blockers anyway, but it works for drafts and for new/casual players.

This art is SO GREAT! I want a dozen to replace all the ones I have now.
Love the art so hard. This is one of the best looking cards, period.

New art, reminiscent of the old Alpha-4th edition art. No more men walking around with baseball bats in my green deck, no sir.

The art alone is worth 5/5.
Oh yeah, that's ignoring the fact that it's Fog.

Best art I've seen in a long time. Also, flavor is great.

No more drunkards wandering around in a patch of mustard gas.
Yes, this art is much better.

I wouldn't be upset if Spore Frog replaced this in future core sets, but I do like the new art

This card is heavily underrated. In a draft once, I was in a lock with my opponent but he was just making Saprolings with Jade Mage. He attacked with all of his creatures at once. I cast fog, he goes "****", and then I proceed to swing for lethal damage with my 7/7 Sengir Vampire.

Decent in constructed, very good in limited... In tight draft games Fog is always something to be taken into account when you're in a stalemate and you play against a green mage with an untapped Forest...

Did anyone notice the misprint in the flavor text?

@TheMajorTom:
There is no misprint, if you are talking about the word that isn't in italics. It is in regular text to emphasize it. Since the rest of the text is italicized, the word "can" is put in regular text. If the flavor text was not in italics, the word "can" would be put in italics to emphasize it.

this card is a must have for all decks using green mana swing with everything then save 1 green then use fog then your ass is saved :D

Good ol' fog. Useful back in middle school when everyone used creatures exclusively for wincons, but just as useful today. One card I think I'll never get tired of. 5/5

one of the only modern arts that, i think, captures the feeling around the game and takes me back.

Insane card, and very underrated! So much potential, and every green deck should have one! Am wondering if this card would still work against undead alchemist as it's not dealing direct combat damage.

@courtb13 Yes fog would work because Undead Alchemist's effect says the zombie has to deal combat damage. So it is dealing combat damage, it's just being replaced as mil instead of life loss.

How many games have gone like this- "All right, I'll swing with everything, and I you don't have enough creatures to block it all so-" "Fog." "...Well, crap." "You tapped everything you got, so...I'm just gonna attack. Good game." Good times.
Also this art is balls to the wall awesome.

Brings back my favorite draft moment. My friend was playing another friend and the game had basically reached a stall where both friends were waiting for their bombs. My first friend bluffed and said, "What do you have to lose if you attack?" and my 2nd friend did attack with all his creatures before being screwed over by Fog.

One of the oldest combat tricks in the book, this one still catches people by surprise. Once they know you have it, though, they'll just be slightly more defensive just in case.
From when Green had more control, in the olden days. Magic sure has changed.
