The expansion symbol on this one makes it strictly better than the other.
Obviously.
(Seriously though, I guess they expect us to comment on its inclusion in the deck.)

For anyone running a green and black casual deck: Shriekmaw's evoke ability combos pretty well with Garruk's Packleader which adds a cantrip to the removal effect.

Can get around the first turn duress or inquisition of kozilek unlike most other black removal. Overall very solid. 4.5

Favourite creature in terms of art. The colour choice was inspired by more than a Dulux paint colour range.

1: Sorcery-speed pseudo-Terror. 5: Sorcery-speed psuedo-Terror on a stick.
One of the better Evoking spirits, I should think.

@Jannissary: You aren't the best at reading, are you?
Evoke is an alternate cost. Instead of paying , you pay . When you do, Shriekmaw comes into play, kills a non-black, non-artifact creature, and then goes to your graveyard. You don't recast this. There is no : Terror effect (I don't know WHERE you got that number from, either.) There is simply a choice between a sorcery speed, limited removal, or an evasive creature with said removal as a bonus.

Love him. It's pretty nice just to have the 3/2 fear as a side-plan. Also, having creatures in the grave is helpful for Skaab Ruinator and Ichorid
