duel land you are mine.

Another advantage being that it's difficult to counter any kind of ability, let alone one that'll targe lands as well. It kinda sucks to have your Harrow Counterspelled or Canceled and lose a land.

Know what's fun? Tap a forest/plains, use Knight of the Reliquary to fetch Krosan Verge, then tap a land for mana to sac it for a Forest and a Plains. Essentially, you just gave the knight +2/+2, thinned your deck by 3, and netted 1 land for only 2 mana. Sounds good to me.

Good lord a land like this would be fun in my landfall deck that uses these colors.

Especially with the aforementioned Knight of the Reliquary combo.

raptorjesus totally misses the point. krosan verge is a land that turns into two lands. there's card advantage there, but that's secondary when compared to verge's main strength:

IT'S A LAND.

oh, and it can get alpha duals and shock duals like bayou and sacred foundry.

This is to Harrow exactly what Verdant Catacombs @co. are to Rampant Growth.

While the tempo is somewhat of a turn-off for me, and I would generally rather work with Verdant Catacombs' friends over any of the other three, if you are playing a deck that doesn't worry about that tempo (say, any Commander deck), this is undoubtedly a great card.

raptorjesus, this is a land, not a spell. Yes, it requires mana to 'use', but it 'drops' for 0. Think of it like a Memnite with an activated ability or something. Also lands have inherent evasion from darn near anything you are likely to see except the tippy top of the destruction-effects of the game.

(Ghost Quarter, Tectonic Edge, Wasteland, and Strip Mine are the only lands that do it. Spells that destroy lands generally aren't good enough anymore compared to what can be done for that amount of mana nowadays. Creature effects that blast the hell out of you (Phyrexian Obliterator, Eldrazi, etc.) are at once both popular and hard to acquire, so I can't really be sure how common they are for you.)

Evasion IMO goes something like this:

1) Hexproof
2) Shroud
3) Protection
4) card type- Land

maybe that's an exaggeration, but if so it's not a huge one.

in EDH get your Temple Garden and your Savannah out, and next turn have a mana party.

Use in your blue deck with Hallowed Fountain and breeding pool. If your opponent doesn't do anything, fetch a pair of islands and untap. Beautiful!

Only thing that makes this good, is the fact that it can search for things like temple garden or whatnot. Otherwise its too slow, coming into play tapped is a tempo loss.
