I would have liked if the name weren't so long
and if it cost 1 less
and it shot ice cream

The space lazors are cool, tho...

This card will be pretty good in Limited, although it's garbage compared to Reprisal.

Strictly worse than Reprisal, +1 mana cost and allows creature regeneration

No wonder the humans on Innistrad are losing

{2} over reprisal, {1} over Radiant's Judgment, {0} chances I'll put it in a deck

Definitely should have cost 3. I can see how they might prefer it costing more than Reprisal, but it still costs more than it's worth. Even at 3 it would likely lose out to Oblivion Ring in Standard, so it would have been a safe choice to drop it down to {2}{W}.

The lowest rated card in the set? Really?

Hey herpaderps, stop rating cards meant for sealed environments based on how good they are in constructed. In Sealed this is a solid 3.5/5, as it kills bombs and kills them dead. A solid mid-pick card for any deck running white.

I can confirm that this card sure is useful in Limited. It kills almost all Werewolves.

It was especially fun when a guy equipped some 2/X creature with a Silver-Inlaid Dagger - poof, there it went.

Though, yes, it's quite astonishing that this costs 2 more than Reprisal AND is weaker...

Seriously, will Avacyn get a card one of these days, she's been quoted or referenced like 8 hundred times!

Dark Acension and "Roll" better include her, or I am going to be ***ed. She also better not turn out to be Asha or Serra, as we never did find out what happened to those two.

Having long been a user of Radiant's Judgment, I had to laugh when I first saw this card. I also have to laugh at how many times I've used this to kill a human equipped with Butcher's Cleaver in limited. Smite the "monstrous" indeed.

Should have been a Reprisal reprint. Quite good in limited non the less.

And another card to add to the "White space lasers" list.

Only now they have a moon base. Bitchin'.

I suppose if every card was good, we'd just complain about power creep. 3/5 for saving peoples behinds in limited.

say what you will about this card, my friend had this terrifying cat tokens deck plus a random Phyrexian Rebirth and he used it to make a 40/40 creature that has won him plenty of games because no one could stop it. but that day he had no idea this was in my hand :D the look on his face was priceless!

i would like to beef up one of an opponents smaller pain in the but creatures withrancor then kill it with this and putting rancor back in hand but that would only work good if the casting cost was lower to make it worth while

...they printed a card that's significantly and strictly worse than an Alliances common that never saw play?

@busdriverdan: Congratulations. You've learnt the first rule of magic: Always run removal. People that have just learnt that really shouldn't give opinions on cards.

Apparently, even while she shrugs this off, Avacyn is a monster.
