White Weenie Overrun. Tempered Steel is probably a better option at the moment, however.

Haha, remember when THIS was the spoiler card when Wizards wanted their Twitter account to reach a certain number of followers before they would spoil it? Good times, good times.
Oh wait, never mind. What I meant to say is, RAGE.

How is this currently rated lower than Inspired Charge, Fortify, and heck, even Army of Allah?! I know it's no Overrun or anything, and certainly can't hold a candle to permanent effects like Time of Heroes and, yes, Tempered Steel, but come on, people! Especially for a common, this is a pretty spiffy combat trick. You can leave it in the bargain bin and I'll be happy to snap up several playsets for my white decks.

A nifty combat trick. Never underestimate the advantages of a combat trick over permanent, but sorcery-speed effects.
It's white weenie overrun, with an appropriately lowered cost and effect.

Don't know if it's the art, or the mechanics, or both, but I'm getting a really old school vibe from this card... defenitely a tactician's card though, and not good enough for just any white deck.

soooo underrated. This card can rip people's head off in a white weenie deck. There are a lot of great weapons around for this card right now, including Squadron Hawk. It may not be Overrun, but at only 3CC with instant speed, it doesn't need to be.

It's unpredictable, and therein lies its power. Turning previously safe blocks into dead creatures is one of the best feelings there is.

Its alright. Not great, But Alright. It can turn the game around quick if the enemy attacks with a crowd of only slightly-tougher creatures than your own hoping to either deal damage, or at least wipe out your board at as little damage to himself as possible.

White has played around for a while with cards similar to this, but not as good. Sure, it's not incredible, but it can swing a battle or do some serious damage in a white weenie deck. Think of buffed up cat tokens, etc.

The card is good, but what really gets me is the great art and flavor text. Why don't more cards have such fitting, interesting flavor like this one?

Really an underrated card. I wouldn't even compare this to Overrun. It's way more versatile. The instant speed on this is everything. Turning nonlethal unblocked combat damage into lethal damage is only the start. Using it once blockers are declared is nearly as good. You can also use it defensively to get rid of stronger attackers (unlike Rally the Forces, which is a comparable card). Common? Even better. Time to make that white weenie deck.

I built a pauper deck around this card. It's deadly when getting enough little white 1/1s in play. Check it out: http://birdsofparadise-mtg.blogspot.com/2011/08/pledge.html

I started using it because I didn't want to buy Honor of the Pure. And it's pretty good. Instant speed makes it more flexible then honor, it turns last turn's Timely Reinforcements into an attack for 9 damage, or turns one combat into a one-sided massacre. It's indeed a white weenie Overrun.

This card is really good! Just because stuff like Overrun exists to make this card feel obsolete doesn't mean this isn't any good. As for me, I've come to welcome it to my spirit deck, and it's won me quite a couple of games.

Definitely underrated. It takes skill and timing to pull it off, but this card can really turn a game around.

People comparing this to Tempered Steel must not be playing White weenie in standard. With the new Mentor of the Meek in a Human Tribal weenie deck with a set of Guardians' Pledge, it will be a quick game over.
Grossly underrated. 4/5

Helps to get your weenies out of Slagstorm range at times. Especially your 2+ toughness powerhouses like Leonin Relic-Warder, Fiend Hunter, Champion of the Parish, Mirran Crusader or even your Honor of the Pure'd 2/2 tokens. Handy and flexible. I like this card.

This card is awesome! Imagine Turn1 champion, Turn2 gather the townsfolk, Turn3 attended knight, Turn4 guardians' pledge! 27 damage in 4 turns!

Meh, it's not a game ender. Three mana could always go to something better than this.
