One of the strongest white cards ever printed. A staple in any collection.

Agreed wholeheartedly, this is up there with Balance and Wrath of God as one of white's defining cards. It's also one of the best spot removal spells ever, coming off well even in comparison toTerminate and Vindicate.

Extremely good card, as everyone say, one of the white essentials.

I am so glad this card hasn't been reprinted in years. exiling for a measly W at instant speed is absolutely OP. And I have never been happy to gain life for my creature. It's either some insignificant amount around 3 or 4, or my game winning dark steel colossus. Gaining 11 life is no good if my trump card can't be used anymore.

The potential for farmer jokes with this one is painfully underutilized.

Kozilek, Butcherer of Truth? More like Kozilek, Butcherer of livestock he raises for slaughter!

It's awfully late here.

One of the best in the game.

I use it in black and white with a slew of the crappiest creatures in black, like flesh reaver, wretched anurid, phyrexian negator, treacherous pit-dweller, and more. These creatures are cheap for big numbers. Attack the opponent to death and use the plowshares at the last minute. Particularly the pit dweller because of the undying garbage.
