This card is one of the more fun ones that I've come upon in a while. There's nothing like sacrificing all of your creatures to some effect and then playing this bomb

They should have given this new art for duel decks. It deserves better than silly joke art.

Also works nicely with Bojuka Bog. "Hey, put everything from your graveyard into play - oh wait, you can't."

@ murdershot21, thanks, i have been telling him that for over a year now. i think what he is saying is this one game we played using each of the 2 duel decks, i was phyrexia. he had no graveyard, 2 sucky 2/2's, a mana axel creature, and a very power full creature with an armadillo cloak and a divinity counter on it (we were also playing plane chase, and we were on a plane that granted indestructibility on the chaos role), i had a phyrexian ghoul , a phyrexian denouncer, and 2 other crappy creatures i cant remember, and a graveyard with over 5 creatures in it (he had a really mean hand and burned my phyrexian negator , plus other removal), i had like 6 life left, he was over 20. i sacked the denouncer to give -1/-1, and sacked the other 2 creatures to block the indestructible one so i would not die, then i played this, i got all 9 of my creatures back and he lost all of his, he died next turn.
after this game, he went to build a deck with over 100 cards in it, huge amounts of targeted mill (targeting himself) and search efects to make sure he always got this card, 75 creatures on turn 5 is very annoying, especially when even if you nuke them he just gets them back.

@ wolfbear2, i'm fairly certain he can read, everyone tells 18scsc that, even his teachers.

@18scsc *** learn to spell, I can't understand a thing you're saying.

Is it possible to lose after playing this card? I mean, I suppose you could return a Phage or something, but I just can't really see it happening.

Haunting Echoes + Living Death = Best time for smug face and rub-ins

Most amazing combo i've ever made. Thank god for the Phyrexia vs. Coalition Duel Decks

most of the time this is the best mass-reanimate. Living End does well in multicolored (grixis style for instant speed removal of suspend counters from Rift Elemental, Clockspinning etc..) and also for things that abuse 0-cost cards (such as panoptic mirror)

That said, Living Death does the same thing but is much easier to use. It makes my Demon Tribal deck not only playable, but decent. Currently I use a mix of Living Death, Living End and maybe Twilight's Call/Pyhrric Revival.

Using dredge, targeted discard, putrid imp etc, I can usually get a few demons out, and once I get a Hellcarver things get AWESOME. Imagine casting one of these a turn ago, attacking with a whole bunch of creatures (which all get sacced) reanimating them and casting another 1-2 for free. That's what that deck does. Spectacularly huge demon battles come out (even IF half of them sacrifice eachother/can't pay upkeep/etc..)

One of the best parts about this card is that it doesn't target, players have to sac they're creatures, this means those annoying critters you couldn't target are history, plan ahead a little and you can have reinforcements waiting in your graveyard.

You do not know how well this combos with Phyrexian Plaguelord which comes in the deck. Just hope you're opponent doesnt counter it

@07mak: I don't really understand how this combos with the plaguelord. So, first, you sac all your creatures to the plaguelord to kill their creatures, then you cast this, and you get all your creatures back, sure, but so do they, including the ones you just killed.
This would combo with basically ANY other sac outlet (Goblin Bombardment WUT WUT) but since the plaguelord specifically kills creatures, it actually sucks with this card, because it just undoes all your work.

Unless you mean that you should just cast this with plaguelord+others in your graveyard, get them all back, THEN sac your dudes to kill the creatures they might have, but in that case it's no better than any random boardwipe, since you both end up with few/no creatures.
