Put this in a pure white deck, and have some "unexpected" mayhem to happen. Kinda like what Wizards wanted to do with their Planechase sets. "The 'Random' factor," as they call it. Or even have this in a Boros Deck, to see how well you opponents can come across with some "slight" differences.

I can't believe this card isn't in an Un-set.

I would like to have them, they remind me of the green glasses of Oz. Who says urza can't be fashionable ? also he uses a miter, he's so indie.

One of the most flavourful cards I've ever seen....it's just too much.

I didn't know Urza shopped at the same sun-glass store as Vash the Stampede

On a side note, until recently I use to think this was from an un-set.

Wonderful card. Of course, it gets easily confused with Urza's Contact Lenses from the Unglued set. It really helps relieve some of those mana problems. I love to throw this card into prismatic decks.

For flavour, it's uses in a WR deck and for the sheer audacity to create this card from WoTC, it deserves a 4!

Anti Conversion tech for mono-red.

With an odd loophole and this you can actually exploit stolen cards (like red Shared Fate cards, a mind-controlled firebreather) in EDH decks where Red is not in your commander's color identity.

Plus they look f**king awesome to boot.

Wasn't this from an Un-Set?

@Mr.Wimples: Yup. I personally like including it sometimes in my Sen Triplets deck.

This isn't an Un- card? Awesome! I'll run this in my "ridiculous-cards-that-aren't-un-cards-but-look-like-they-should-be" deck with phelddagrif.

If you run boros, this card is mega powerful. this would not only help you not get color screwed, but it would allow you to run more plains than mountains.

Then again, red has the valkaunt ramp, so your milage may vary. Either way, if you play the correct deck, this thing helps.

P.S: is elton john secretly urza?

Part of me wishes this could be a cycle. The other part likes that this is a unique artifact. Perhaps it could be retconned into a Legendary artifact?

lmao the art. Someone should get EVERY card that has urza in the art and put these sunglasses on him. I thought this was an unglued card because it is so derpy.

A card that has its uses, and excels at those times, but the big draw is the cool art and probably the most "un" feeling card ever printed in a real set.

Back in the day this card allowed my burn deck to add: swords to plowshares, balance, wrath of god, reverse damage, and Armageddon.
