This seems like it will be rather useful in limited, getting back key artifacts and creatures. In constructed, I'm not so sure, but it could easily find its place. I might work it into a casual {W} artifact deck, just to try it out.

And if you'll combine him with some sacrifice synergy and some spellbombs... Amazing first drop for white.
An acceptable card in limited. Great against Metalcraft or other decks with good removal if you have an artifact bomb like a Sword or Steel Hellkite or something. Or just blocking and getting a spellbomb or something back, sometimes that's OK.

Fun with clone shell. Did you miss? ok, try again.
cracked the spellbomb (artifact creature #1 can no longer block this turn), drew a card, cast and cracked the salvage scout, getting back the spellbomb, cast and cracked the spellbomb again (but I didn't draw a card this time and now artifact creature #2 can no longer block this turn). Partner swung with the sword wielding Cystbearer and I buffed it with the trigon to get through for 7 poison.
As seen above, great tech with spellbombs.

Roo***er Diver in white.. not sure which is really better.
EDIT: Seriously? Root-water Diver is what I mean to link to.

"I'm not saying it's dangerous work."
Well, considering that you get sacrificed, I think it is dangerous work.

panic spellbomb, Trigon of Rage, 2 Plains, and 4 Mountains on my board; Cystbearer equipped with a sword of feast and famine on my partner's board and our opponents had 2 black creatures and 2 artifact creatures down.
