So it's a 1/1 myr for two that triggers "artifact comes into play" effects twice, and "leaves play" effects too? With optional cheap cantrip? This could be the best common in the set.
I'm finding this card useful for M a s s Polymorph builds. It dodges ratchet bomb, it dodges doj (as long as you didn't pop it too early). As for the risk of artifact removal, it dodges that too. Play it right, and you are virtually guaranteed to have tokens for M a s s Polymorph.
(Btw, the obscenity filter is very poorly designed, Wizards)

Straight up good in Extended Poly-Emrakul as well.
Turn 1: Land, Springleaf Drum Turn 2: Land, Play and sac Origin Spellbomb for Myr token
Turn 3: Land, Tap Drum, Myr, and your land for Polymorph into Emrakul(or your gargantuan beatstick of choice)
Turn 4: Profit!

Glaze Fiend can't help but grin. +4/+4, a chump blocker, and a card for 3 mana? Delicious.

Couldn't you pay the 1 colorless, tap, and then tap Throne Of Geth to sacrifice this card and get the benefits of the myr token, proliferate, and the origin spellbomb graveyard effect?

@tidus360: No.
Throne of Geth and this card both entail sacrficing as part of their ability's cost to activate. Regardless of which sacrifice ability you choose to use first, the spellbomb will not be present to be sacrificed a second time.
So, you can have a 1/1 Myr and card draw for two mana, or a proliferate effect and card draw for two mana. However, you can't have your cake and eat it.

for a 1/1 token, or for a 1/1 token that cantrips.
Bleh. Not the worst of the new Spellbombs (Horizon Spellbomb gets that esteemed title) but still. Bleh.

One of my favorite cards in my mono-white Myr deck. A Myr token and a cantrip for what is effectively ? Sign me up!
This gets a 5/5 rating from me.

This is the best of the spellbomb cards if you're playing Metalcraft. You get the card's effect and keep an artifact on the board.
