Kinda exspensive, but you get two, so it's not bad.

rampant growth x2, eh, depends how good rampant growth it, btw, reprint in zen is harrow, and yes, it is better, instant speed, 2G cost, only draw back is it requires a land sac

But Harrow also doesn't put the lands into play tapped like this does.

But this is card advantage, harrow gives you 2 cards for two cards, rampant growth gives you 1 card for one, while this gives you 2 cards for 1 card.

They're lands, card advantage doesn't make THAT much difference. But this is a good card for any decks that need to go into relatively high amounts of mana.

Very solid fetch spell, particularly when combined with landfall abilities.

Harrow is twice the card this will ever be because it only costs 2g and the 2 lands don't come in tapped, but you have to sac a land but you can just sac one you just tapped.

Krosa sounds kind of like my garden.

No, wait, that dies faster than it grows.

A lot of people are trying to compare this to Harrow, but it just can't be compared. It's like comparing apples and oranges. It really just depends on your deck. More often then not, however, you will find yourself running Harrow more often because it can be played one turn sooner. But if you're not in a land rush and you are afraid of getting Cancel fucked, Explosive Vegetation is the right card to choose.

If you're looking at this card, consider Hunting Wilds...

If I were to choose, I'd pick Cultivate instead.

That second land you looked for MAY not come to any use, but if you didn't play any lands that turn, you could have cultivated a tapped land and an untapped one for 1 less.

I'll just get epic ramp spell for EDH instead, though.
