Amazing card, and one of the earliest examples of a creature that could completely shut down an opponent's offense. Slapping Regeneration on him and leaving some forests untapped all but ensured you weren't going to take creature damage for the rest of the game.
First white creature card I ever pulled.... Love this card... 4/5.... He hits the board with a huge target on his forehead.... I can hear him saying "You have to go through me first buddy..."

Combos ridiculously well with a lot of cards: Gaseous Form, Scars of the Veteran, Temper, Test of Faith, Indestructibility, Unquestioned Authority/Spirit Mantle, Inviolability/Heart of Light, Mother of Runes... I could go on and on and on.
Bottom line: this guy can singlehandedly win you games. Anybody who isn't rating him at least a 4 has never had the benefit of playing with one.
