Hive Mind potential combo, if your opponent/ opponents has a small chance of winning before your next turn.

@PEVE_O

it would work well if you had a platinum angel and liches mirror out, if it was a multiplayer game (so you can deal with the hate of everyone else trying to kill you before you win.)

You won't lose if you've won before the end of turn. Up there for one of my favorite reminder texts ever. xD

What if i play a card that prevents me from losing the game on the turn i should have lost the game, such as angel's grace, do I lose the game the turn after that or is the second effect ignored?

The difference between this and Final Fortune is that this is a Sorcery whereas the other is an instant.

I imagine that it won't normally make a difference, since you'd normally want to cast in during your turn, but you could cast Final Fortune in response to things.

Of course, that doesn't necessarily make it better in every deck, since there are cards like Magnivore that go better with sorceries.

Warrior's Oath, however, is exactly the same except for the name.

I guess with this, that, and Final Fortune, you could have basically 12 of the same card in your deck, but I'm not sure what kind of deck would be able to make that work.

I've always assumed that this card's name was chosen to illustrate a very well-hidden pun in the name of its counterpart.

A great card for burn and one of the few gems in starter edition.

I would just run relentless assault.

@PEVE_O: This wouldn't combo with Hive Mind. You cast this spell, before it resolves, they get a copy and it resolves. Then your version resolves. But extra turns are taken in the reverse order that the effects resolved in. Meaning you would take your extra turn before theirs, and since you're playing Hive Mind, probably don't have the board state to win the game in that turn.
