Portal Kingdoms had some of the coolest cards. And the flavor of the whole Portal block is really nice as well. 3.5/5 for a cool card with a decent mechanic. I can't imagine a realistic scenario where you don't want to discard something. Just build your deck around that fact when you have mechanics like this...not hard to do.

Still, it's no Ponder.

This is the one card from this set I wish was reprinted, so I could have this effect at this mana cost on a card that is not like 80 bucks.

This should be reprinted. Better than Ponder for recursion decks.
I wouldn't. The graveyard is much more accessible than the bottom of the library. In a deck built to manipulate the grave, it's nearly as good as just drawing the three cards.

@Scumbling1 The instant speed of Telling Time makes it pretty useful. I like this one too, though, since I usually play decks that tap out on my turn a lot :D Nice to bury a Genesis and a creature and pick up an otherwise missed land drop.

Oddly enough, playable in Vintage with the restriction of Brainstorm and Ponder. Also strictly better than the (as of writing) new card Glimpse the Future.

Rarest set to get a hold of. Even more rare in English.
