This card is great even if you have to hardcast it! 4 dudes for G is nothing short of an amazing card. Oh, and its uncomomn, so I get to play the heck out of it in limited. But that's not all...now, they're gonna print SNAKE TOKENS for the boosters!

It's decent, it would be nice if it was any permanent though, its green mana cost and what does green have the most? Creatures! So, we are talking land, enchant, or artifact basically. Still good card, but it would need to be in the right deck, many decks you're not usually losing anything but creatures, and it can't be countered to graveyard it actually has to be destroyed it seems.

Great card indeed. However, Isaac is wrong.. the Harrow example fails for 2 reasons; 1) that was a sacrifice, 2) you controlled that effect.
But if you play multiplayer and have ppl nuke a land or an enchantment.. this is good to bounce back.

I have to agree with Pinsir- 4 Snake Tokens at Instant speed for 6 is decent by itself, the trap cost is just icing on the cake. 4 stars. I have fond memorys of a limited deck that token spammed with this and Baloth Cage Trap.

say you enchant one of your creatures with oakenform. your opponent doom blades the creature. would that count as destroying the enchantment? or does it only count as the creature being destroyed with the loss of the enchantment being a side-effect?
