Follow up with Tombstalker the next turn and you're set. Your opponent probably doesn't even have enough mana for Wrath of God by the time you race these out.
There's actually a whole story behind this dude in the collection "Monsters of Magic." Pick it up sometime, it's a good book. Also tells the tale of Jhovall Queen, Vampiric Dragon, and Lhurgoyf (I think).

I don't understand why this is rated higher than Demon of Death's Gate. Is 6 life not worth an extra 3/3 and flying?
