There's definitely gonna be a 3/3 Hedron Artifact Creature with Landfall +3/+3 for 6 mana in Rise of the Eldrazi. Callin' it right now.

I guess it' ok in Limited as four mana for a conditional 4/4, but other than that, it isn't very good at all. Which is kind of sad, because 5 years ago, 4 for a 4/4 would have been pretty good, if a bit underwhelming. Oh well, powercreep happens.

Actually, pairing this up with Everflowing Chalice's ability to produce land with the multikicker can level up this guy and make him more effective than you may think. Or am I wrong, because from what I can see Hedron Rover has a very high potential when paired correctly.

@pedroami - You're wrong, because Everflowing Chalice has no ability to produce land at all. It produces mana. Which doesn't impact landfall, and thus this card, in the slightest.
A decent card, and Landfall is fairly easy to abuse with fetchlands and other basic mana ramp. Don't be surprised to see this guy barreling at you as a 6/6 or 8/8 on turn 4-5.

This, Hedron Scrabbler, and the Hedron cards in general make me sad. Shouldn't they have been anti-Eldrazi tools, considering they were what was keeping the Eldrazi in check in the first place? How epic would that have been?
Instead, we get the Hedron Matrix, also known as the Eldrazi equipment, Dreamstone Hedron, the Eldrazi battery, and Keening Stone, the Eldrazi...I don't even know. It's all just...stupid. The Eldrazi are stupid. Revelation of the century, I know.
Oh, the card? It's shit, just like it's little brother, in fact even more so than it's little brother. And that makes me so very very sad...

@DoragonShinzui: They were being kept in check until Nissa (Correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't actually read the books) fixed that. Then, like the flavor text for Hedron Matrix explains, they awoke and the insane power helped the Eldrazi.
