Unmitigated trash pile. At least Blind Phantasm had a cool look to it... speaking of which, we got that one coming back soon too so there is no shortage of wasted printings for blue on the horizon. Best part about this card is the gathering magic flavor text as Pramxnim mentioned. 1/2.

Another Blind Phantasm. Guys, it's not THAT bad. Remember your color pie. Blue isn't going to get a great vanilla 3-drop. 2/3 is A-OK considering the color. On the other hand, if you're running blue, then you must ask yourself: why would I want a 2/3 vanilla at whatever cost? How does this help me in my blue-ish plans? That drops the rating a bit.

Meh. Not the best. But since blue is probably (and ironically) the second most likely color to rush you out in Rise, it actually does serve a purpose in its color. That said, it's still a pretty bad beater.

Hedron Crab's older more aggressive brother. Ok for a blue vanilla but i can't think of any blue decks that would need this without better alternatives this. Blue vanilla just doesn't feel right. Would've been cool if you had the option not to untap it during your turn can permatap another creature as well until it leaves the battlefield or something.
Thank God, I'm not a card designer. Lol.

I'm considering playing this with Zedruu and Bazaar trader for the sole purpose of being able to shout "You've got crabs!" at my opponent. Immature as (censored) but still...

A flavorful creature type for a 2/3 blue vanilla (better than blind phantasm... an illusion without abilities seems not to be an illusion at all). With its higher power it can be used more flexibly than horned turtle. Mana costs fit well regarding the colour: warpath ghoul for same costs is a 3/2... and black is more aggressive than blue. Anyway... a well-armored monster crab killing a foul zombie is a pretty sight ^^ ... even though the zombie kills the crab, too... well... at least, it has a lot of meat^^.
