I like this card... just not as much as Rancor.

Then again, that's instantly redundant.

I like this card.

They could've changed the name to Shadowmage Umbra, but that probably would've made it BlackBlue, and Blue doesn't need any more draw-spells.

Just thinking about giving Finkel this makes me slightly giddy!

Throw it on a Silhana Ledgewalker and have fun.

@Ferlord
All umbras have the appearance and provide qualities of a certain animal.
"Shadowmage" isn't quite an animal :D
Their functionaility is often derived from common traits of creature in Magic.
Bear Umbra gives +2/+2, since a 2/2 creature is considered a "bear".
Crab Umbra provides Horseshoe Crab's ability for its casting cost.
Snake Umbra even combines both a power/toughness boost that suits your common snake and an ability that has been observed on various snakes so far.

(And getting card advantage for letting your creatures hit your opponent is just as blue a it is green.)

Curiosity, colorshifted to green, and costs 2 more for the addition of a +1/+1 boost and totem armor. I'd say that's pretty decent value. Put it on something tramply and enjoy your card advantage.

Put this fella on an Ohran Viper for all kinds of laughs as your opponent squirms in indecision.

Attach to Lorescale Coatl for ultimate flavor. What real lore is made of.
