Yay! A scorpion! It could've been better, but I still like it. (With Vampire Nighthawk, a lot of cards that would be good aren't so good)

I hate having to forfeit flavor for card power.

Awesome little card. Makes an effective little shield, and a niggler on the opponent - after all, no-one wants to sacrifice a creature to stop 1 damage.

Can ping your opponent for 1 a turn, or serve as an effective blocker. I like it, it has served me well in the limited Zendikar events I've done so far.

I recently started a little Vampire deck for fun and am not sure if I should add one of these in. Nice ability and 1/3 is alright but just not sure if I could swing for him in favor of someone else :s

Also is it just me, or does anyone else think he should be a Zombie/Undead Scorpion. Picture just kinda gives it that, undead feel.

This is one of my favourites. Powerful, fun, flavourful. Shame there aren't enough scorpions to build a deck around!

This guy knows how to draw, i mean have you seen the art, i got this in a booster pack and i was like OH MY GOD, BEST ART EVER, seriously Raymond's art compares to greg staples in awesomeness.

playable card considering that thats one of the best abilities, of course i like the nighthawk better but this is decent.

Good in limited. It would have been decent in constructed, but it seems kind of pointless to release it in the same set as the much better Vampire Nighthawk. Okay, Nighthawk is not "strictly better" due to the mana cost, but it's still better in almost any situation.

But this one is common, so it sees more play in Limited. For Limited, this is a very good pick.

I like this card. He has that same effect as a Gomazoa as he nags at the back of your opponents head whenever they are planning an attack.

Plus we need more Scorpions

Big butt deathtouch is godly in limited.

Interesting factoid, Zendikar is home to 2 of the multiverse's 5 varieties of scorpion.

Excellent, excellent stopper. I think this might be a fairly legitimate temporary solution to Phyrexian Obliterator. 1 damage to block and kill it, and a minimal loss of 2 permanents lost, and 2 damage! Sure, there are other factors and stuff, but on his own he's not a bad answer.

And wicked art to boot. If only it wore shady sunglasses.

Giant Scorpion vs. Pit Scorpion...may the best 3 CMC scorpion win. Too bad there are only five scorpions in the entire game. :(

Nasty little beast. I find it ridiculous when they print things like Daggerback Basilisk because what we want is low power, high toughness deathtouch.

Amazing card. Even though its only a 1/3 for a 3 drop, deathtouch helps immensely. Plus, it's better that it's a 1/3 vs a 2/2, 3/1, etc. (because of deathtouch). Love stats and art.
